Trump. Rape. China. Mike Tyson.

This is how Trump's brain works.

On Friday, Mike Tyson, former heavyweight boxing champion, converted Muslim and longtime Trump friend, endorsed Trump. Trump made the announcement to a crowd of Trumpists in Indiana. Trump was thrilled. He and Tyson were made for each other:

"Mike Tyson endorsed me," Trump told the crowd. "I love it. He sent out a tweet. Mike. Iron Mike. You know, all the tough guys endorse me. I like that, OK? But Mike said, 'I love Trump. I endorse Trump.' And that's the end. I'm sure he doesn't know about your economic situation in Indiana. But when I get endorsed by the tough ones, I like it, because you know what? We need toughness now. We need toughness."

Tyson is as disgraced a public figure as it is possible to be. He was convicted in 1992 of raping an 18-year old beauty pageant contestant in Indianapolis. In 1997, still boxing, Tyson bit off part of heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield's ear...Yes, he did...during a match.

So Trump did a word association when speaking about China. Rape-Tyson-China. Rape lept over Tyson, it emigrated from Tyson and landed in China...See? That's how Trump's brain "works"...My brother voted for that brain.

When Tyson was later convicted of the rape of 18-year-old Desiree Washington and sentenced to six years in prison, Trump proposed that Tyson should be allowed to keep fighting, with the proceeds from his bouts going to rape victims (and Trump, naturally). The arrangement would have greatly benefitted Trump’s casinos at a time when he was suffering financial woes, but officials deemed it inappropriate.

That's how Trump's brain works too.

At an ensuing press conference, Trump was asked, “If your sister was raped by a millionaire, would you encourage her to accept a big bundle of cash to forget everything?” Trump’s reply: “I think every individual situation is different.”

And that too.

Tyson gave us some more insight into how Trump's brain works:

I ask Tyson, who converted to Islam while in prison, how he could support Trump, who proposed a ban on all Muslims entering the U.S.

“It’s just not gonna happen,” he says of the Muslim ban, shaking his head. “He’s just not gonna do that. Congress just won’t do that. But that doesn’t mean he can’t be president, you know what I mean?”
