They missed the damn PAT. A kick? It just says "Joseph Bullovas PAT failed." I guess he's their kicker. I would not have been surprised if Saban had gone for two there, that way a FG later would win it. That and the unlikelihood of a kicker missing a PAT had me wondering...No, that's not right. I am sooo horrible at math. The extra point, usually a gimme, would have made it 16-14 and a later FG would have won it. It made no sense to go for two there.
