The Nuggetinos trailed by double digits in, I think, every game in this series, including this Game 7, but each time came with their pick axes and chipped away and chipped away until Kawhi Leonard’s, Paul George’s and Doc Rivers’ Clip Joint was reduced to dust. Denver won this one in a walk 104-89 but they trailed by 12 in the first half only to lead by as many as 20. Some deep soul- and personnel-searching will go on in LA after this one. Jamal Murray had 40 and Nikola Jokic had a 3W by the 3Q as Denver soared mile-high. Congratulations to the “Nuggets”!
