UPDATE: Victor Oladipo has decided to undergo season-ending surgery on his right quadriceps tendon. The surgery will take place tomorrow in New York. There is no timetable for his return at this time.

I confess I had a schadenfreude...no, I guess it would be a masochistic, reaction to this. Magic Johnson, most prominently. said the “Heat” “won” free agency, hands down won. Olapido got hurt like his fourth game with the “Heat” and hasn’t played since. Meanwhile, Kelly Olynyk has been Mr Kareem Abdul Jabbar with “Cows”! Really: K.O.! The guy was a stiff with us. So even before today’s announcement the “Heat” had lost the most recent free agency period hands down. But wait...NBC was the first to point this out that I saw—curiously worded statement by the “Heat”, no? “VICTOR OLADIPO HAS DECIDED...” not, “Team physicians have decided” or even, “Victor Oladipo will have season-ending surgery,” but “Victor Oladipo has decided.” 

Now, we have seen both sides of this out of 601 Biscayne. They thought Justise Winslow was a pussy in missing so many games. They were CORRECT, too! Justise is also a stiff but “stiff” and “pussy” didn’t seem to go. Before that though, remember Chris Bosh? LIFE-threatening condition and the “Heat” were adamant: YOU ARE NOT PLAYING! In that instance CB was insisting he could play. One final thing, again from the Peacock, on V.O.: ain’t the first time he has been accused of havin’ a leetle Justise in him. Sorry, I laughed.
