What if we had never done any mitigation? Sometime in the spring of 2020 Trump and Fauci met in the Oval Office. "What if we just let this thing burn itself out?" Trump asked. "A lot of people are going to die." Fauci answered. So Trump did something for a short while, encouraged state governors to shut down and their people to mask up. Well, didn't a lot of people die anyway?

What if COVID was just going to take its grim harvest no matter what we did (except for vaccinations)? What if, in another way of putting it, nothing would stop COVID and its variants until we reached herd immunity? Would Delta have burned over and out of us quicker? Have we just drawn out the harvest season? 

CDC doesn't like the example of India--"too backward," "inaccurate data"--not advanced like us or Scotland or Singapore which CDC likes better. Be that as it may this is India's all-time cases and deaths graph.

Delta's dawn in India was a nuclear fireball at altitude. Two percent were vaccinated. Cases peaked on May 8 at 391k average/day. To this day only 19% fully vaxed, only 49% one shot.

Delta cases burned over the subcontinent in a nearly symmetrical Himalayan peak formation over twelve weeks.

Deaths--right on time with the death interval--May 23 with 4,190/day. Delta death in India also went from flare-up to "embers" in about twelve weeks.

India's had one hump and a peak in both cases and deaths.

How in hell can the One Solution be vaxes when the U.S. reached its third death peak after 70% had been vaxed and India is rippling out with 49%? I'm asking, CDC. "It's an epidemic of the unvaxed." Stop, just stop the fucking stop. Both Delta, in India virtually the entire population unvaxed at start, today less than half. Where's the epidemic of the unvaxed now in India?
