"Heat" in control and pulling away since early in the 1Q. They've now won four straight.
Fucking M. Garrett played again! M! M! M!
Tale of the tape:
MIA 50% (38.5). Whoa! Drastic improvement! My gosh.
D.C. 49.4% (41.7%) And for them, too!
"Heat":
Butler 32 (11/19), 3, 5, 4, 0, 1 t.o.
Bam 20, 9, 2, 0, 0, 2 t.o.
Gabe 18 6/12 (3/6), 4, 2, 1, 0, 0 t.o. I'm giving * of the game to Gabe.
Kyle 8, 5, 12, 1, 0, 2 t.o. Twelve assists, a 6-1 ratio is precisely what you want from the player playing the position of point guard. Okay, I got carried away there, can't give the star of the game to Gabe, great game though Gabe. Gotta be co-*'s Jimmy and Kyle.
Duncan 6 2/9 (2/8), 3, 0, 2, 0, 0. Duncan played the fewest minutes of the starters, 27. He's a combined 4/16 (4/14) in his last two games, both at home. Oh course, it's not Jimmy. In the first game of the season Duncan had more wide open looks than a guy at a strip club and was 3/10 (2/8). I saw today that when we played the "Clippers" last Wednesday their radio guy interviewed Duncan and asked if the mega-contract he signed in the off-season could be a reason for his struggles. "Subconsciously maybe," was Duncan's reply. In other words, the pressure to produce, not that he got fat and lazy like Dion Weighters or James Johnson.
"Bullets":
Bradley Beal was/is their Jimmy, 30, 11/18 (3/8), 6, 5, 1, 0, 6 t.o. Ooh, major demerit there for B.B. of the "Bullets."
Fucking Kyle Kuzma had a spectacular game: 19, 13, 7, 1, 0, 3 t.o. From your small forward!
C. Kispert had 13 off the bench; M. Harrell, their starting C, 12 and 9.
D.C. was never really in this game. They did not play anything like the top team in the Least. Excellent win by Miami.
