The MI winning TD goes into the record books as a 47-yard pass. It was really a zero-yard pass and a 47-yard run. The tight end, ignored by the PSU defense came from the left across the middle of the field at the line of scrimmage and he lumbered in 47 yards past the completely fooled PSU defense. Excellent play call by Jim Harbaugh.

I saw this name repeatedly on MI runs when I was checking updates: Haskins. Hassan Haskins ran the ball 31 times for 156 yards. That'll keep a defense honest. PSU has no such threat. AP:

The Nittany Lions continue to be dreadfully one-dimensional. Despite harping on it all week, they again failed to hit holes for big runs and averaged just 2.6 yards per yards per rush, Without any real push on ground, Clifford is having to do way too much, and his workload was even harder with all the Michigan defenders getting clean runs at him.

Clifford was sacked seven times.

The write-up and boxscore bare out Michigan's superiority.  PSU resorted to two fake kicks, the second one of which had no chance, it looked like that abortion that the Pittsburgh "Steelers" tried against the Cleveland "Browns." The kicker, the receiver on this play, took a poor throw from the holder and looked like it was the first time he had ever caught a ball. Michigan was on him like flies on poop and stripped him for the fumble and recovery. James Franklin was animatedly pissed on the sideline.

You are what your record says you are and PSU looked and read every bit the 6-4 team they are.
