Cincinnati just finished off their championship game against Houston. The "Bearcats" won 35-20.Not overly impressive, especially considering it was a Cincy home game. Cincinnati's CFP hopes took a most fortunate turn earlier when Baylor beat Oklahoma State. The "Cowboys" were fifth, right behind the "Bearcats." Sixth in the CFP voting is Notre Dame. The "Irish" are no threat to overtake Cincinnati since they have beaten ND--in South Bend, no less. I think it extremely unlikely that two-loss Baylor sitting ninth, would jump five spaces and over Cincinnati with a five-point win over #5 Oklahoma State. I think the "Bears" punched the "Bearcats" ticket to the CFP.
