Kevin Durant had 37 points, but stepped out of bounds with 12" to seal the game for Boston and Kyrie Irving had 19 points as Brooklyn lost in Beans 126-120. Jayson Tatum dropped 54 on their asses. They could have won this game and and desperately needed to win, and still lost.

With KD back, and effective, and the team playing out of town where Kyrie can play, this is, in my opinion, as full a team as the "Nets" will have down the stretch and into the playoffs, if they get that far. I don't expect Ben Simmons to add anything paradigm-shifting to Brooklyn. They are 4.5 games out of 6th place, but (I didn't know this) have three games in hand on Cleveland, so in theory 3 games back. The pre-season favorites to win the East, they are 11 games behind Miami with 17 left. They have lost four in a row, two with Kevin playing, and six of seven. Contrast that with Philadelphia, who swapped Simmons for James Harden. They're in second place, have won five of six, are 4-1 with Harden, who is joyful, Maxey who is liberated, and Joel who is the MVP in waiting.
