The Los Angeles "Lakers" lost last night at Houston They Have Many Problems, including being at the time the team with the worst record in the Association. LAL--with Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook, and LeBron James playing--are 27-38. 

Brian Windhorst has been covering LeBron since high school, has moved wherever 'Bron has moved. His reporting has always been detached, unemotional. I have never heard Windy (as he is called) as exasperated as he was after last night's debacle. His voice was animated when he spoke, he grimaced, he animated his speech with gestures, chopping the air, raising his hand up above his head and bringing it down, not pounding on the desk, but that movement. "There is no excuse for this team...I understand Anthony Davis is out...but they have LeBron, they have 'Melo, they have Westbrook, and last night was not Westbrook's fault! This is a shocking, shocking situation." All entirely appropriate, entirely.
