Prince Charles is heir to the British throne. At the time of his marriage to Diana Spencer there was talk that Queen Elizabeth II might abdicate for the beautiful, youthful couple. That didn't happen and Charles took up with Camilla and Di with Dodi Fayed. Then Lady Di and Dodi were killed in a car crash. Prince Charles' popularity was severely dented and his next wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cambridge, was disliked. Now we have an even more stunning family next in line after Charles. Prince William, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge and their three amazingly beautiful children, Prince George,

Princess Charlotte,

and Prince Louis

The British people would go bonkers over a youthful, gorgeous royal family of William, Kate, and those three chitlins. It would be Camelot. JFK, Jackie, John-John and Caroline. Which, as you have intuited, leads to the question, would Prince Charles foreseeably abdicate for Prince William? No. QEII had an immeasurable sense of duty to the Crown and surely instilled same in her heir. It'll be King Charles and the queen consort Camilla.
