The Dark Gray Lady

I have noticed that my mood is more like the Ukrainian flag 

and less like Rothko's Black on Gray

                                                        They call it The Gray Lady, right?

since I have made AP, not NYT, my dominant news source. It's probably 60% AP, 20% Quasis, 20% WaPo now. Before it was 90%-10% Times-Post.

AP is the real gray lady, never sunny or midnight. The Times though, it's either black or dark gray. The Times takes its "newspaper of record" label too seriously. It is grimly serious, humorless, negative, depressed-seeming, and depressing. The New York Times building does not seem to me an enjoyable place to work.
