Second week of the rankings? Third? These four would make the playoff if the season ended now:
1. UGA
2. OSU
3. Meeshigan.
4. TCU
I love that the top four are all undefeated, that the committee didn't put a one-loss team, Tenn. Oregon ahead of an unbeaten Group of Five team, the Horny Toads. But that undefeatedness will change: No. 2 and No. 3 play each other in three weeks. Either Tenn. or Oregon will likely be beneficiary of The Game. Doesn't sound like those two would have a common opponent but they duz, the UGA "Bulldogs." Both got the snot beat out of them, O far worse, 49-3 but way longer ago, first week, Sept. 3. Not a big fan of rematches in the playoff but we're likely to have one. What are you going to do when there are two conferences far and away the superiors of all others?
