Still no update from 9:57. I read the AZ election head (whose name is Bill Gates) say that his workers were logging 18-hour shifts. If they came in at 8 a.m. local time (an hour behind Normal People Time) they would end at 2 a.m. there, 3 a.m. here. Which I'm not staying up until that there. I do expect another update before I turn in but I'm gettin' ready; it's midnight. According to this source there are 85,000-95,000 ballots left to be tabulated. Katie Hobbs leads by 26,011 votes. That lead has dropped by almost 11,000 since ~5 p.m. EST. Taking the lower of those numbers Lake would have to win 72.6% to overtake Katie. Taking the higher Lake would have to win 69.4%. By AP's standard Lake still "has a path to victory."
D's path to retaining our House majority is now about a tightrope. Tonight OR-5 flipped from D to R.
