This Boston Franchise is Destroyed

Everyone from whoever hired Joe Mazzulla to Mazzulla to the players have been wrecked by the "Heat." The culture, to borrow a word, is all wrong. I am astonished that the players are so oblivious as to defend Mazzulla. It's a cult or Stockholm Syndrome. You break a cult by disappearing the leader, stop Stockholm Syndrome by releasing the prisoner. These "Celtics" players have always been as shockingly stupid as they are supremely talented. They are, as the "Celtics" fanzine quoted put it, the "Random" Boston Celtics. That's an embarrassment to professional basketball, to anything professional. And yet, this core, Tatum, Brown, Smart, came within two wins of a title last season, beat these same "Heat" in the conference finals. This core, this clueless, gutless core may win a championship one day, that's the nature of random. Just not this day. The "Celtics" are done. The "Heat" have done them. The "Heat" have already gotten one coach fired and this "Celtics" team got another one fired. The "Heat" are going to get a third fired in muttonhead JoeMaz. The team needs a soul transplant and there aren't any of those available.
