There is no reason for this to be happening, the failure to take a vote, except that Jim Phillips thinks that time will pressure one of the four "Nays" to vote "Yea". That pressure is occurring. The best bet to switch, I would think, would be UNC, a public Ivy with an AD who has already told Half Ass U to stop its "barking" about revenue sharing. I hope Phillps' suasion and the pressure fail. I am against the addition of Stanford and Cal on student-athlete welfare grounds.
