#25 Lew had one of those deceptively lopsided leads when you skip a base-ten increment. It's 30-13 with 5:20 left. The game is over. Notre Dame has lost. Seventeen points when it's 30-13 is Blowouts Ville and this wasn't quite that but close enough. The Lakers are exposed as pretenders once agayne.

Georgia Tech could have heaped oodles of pressure on the 17-Miami Gardens Breezes with a TD; they were down inside the UMG 10 and settled (wisely) for the FG but a touch would have made it a two score game and very difficult for the Breezes to pull it out. As it stands 17-10 with---Ha! 17-17 on a 60-yard pass by TvD and we are even again and it's anybody's game with tons of time left in the 4Q.
