A very good question that I am delighted to entertain: What does the GOP do when Trumpie is the nominee and he’s

1) in trial on multiple cases or

2) is convicted of multiple counts in multiple cases?

Do they, CAN they, substitute a nominee who refuses to drop out? Or have they, even at this stage, reached the point of no return and will go over the Falls with him?

My long-standing opinion is that Trumpie is our dream GOP opponent—with all the risks, which I acknowledge, and which both ebb and flow.

But the current has been flowing inexorably and has only gotten stronger; oh, there have been some eddies but it’s been really consistently flowing closer to the Falls.

I am with the “crazy eights” as McCarthy calls the ultra-MAGAts in Congress: Trumpie uber alles and the whole fascistic “Enterprise” over the Falls and dashed to pieces on the rocks below. And I don’t see that the GOP has the choice or the will to wrench the Clown Ship out of the rapids.
