They are "aligned", that's the term for it in sports today, from owner through head coach. The GM, renowned, is Sam Presti who has been in the position since 2007 when he was 29 years old! The youngest GM in NBA history. The head coach, hired when he was 35, is Mark Daigneault. When the franchise and Billy Donovan mutually separated the org simply promoted Daigneault from their G League team, the Oklahoma City Blue. Now THAT is alignment. Model franchise, OKC.
