My little girl is back. I called today and postponed her spaying, scheduled for Tuesday. The shots and nail clipping that they gave her on Feb. 5 have, intentionally or not, eliminated, so far, her heat behavior. She hasn’t been in heat since. I don’t want to hurt her, don’t want to change her so fundamentally, unless it is absolutely necessary, and I have decided that right now it is not necessary, it would be gratuitous. The vets office of course tried, but gently, to talk me out of it but were understanding snd said I had a year (under her pre-paid treatment plan).
