"Even if you vote and then pass away, it's worth it."-Trump

I was listening to the radio on the way to and from my pizza joint and I heard one of the moderators of 1A say that Trump’s abortion video today was “and I’m paraphrasing, essentially, life is important but so is winning elections.”

I immediately thought of the AP article below which I screenshotted on Jan. 15, ahead of the Iowa caucuses. I hadn't read just what Trump said today so I googled that.

Trump told Republicans that they must,

“follow your heart on this issue. But remember, you must also win elections to restore our culture and, in fact, to save our country, which is currently and very sadly a nation in decline.”

He was roundly criticized. Both pro-choice and forced birth advocates laid into him, including Senator Lindsey Graham. Trump immediately hit back

“We cannot let our Country suffer any further damage by losing Elections on an issue that should always have been decided by the States, and now will be!”

Trump took to Truth Social later Monday to lash out at his critics, saying both Dannenfelser [I don’t know who the fuck that is and don’t care] and Graham were,

“of absolutely no help as the Democrats staged rallies and won Elections they should never have won” after Dobbs, adding that Graham should focus instead on “the millions of people dying in senseless, never-ending Wars that he constantly favors and promotes.”

So now we're ready for the AP quote of Trump from Jan. 15 in Iowa. You'll recall that it was dangerously cold in the Midwest on the night of the caucuses:

1A accurately paraphrased him. And, what he said in his video is consistent with what he said in response to the cracker Graham. Paraphrasing: "If life is so important to you Lindsey, stop supporting wars"; and what he said in Iowa. Paraphrasing: Risk your life to vote for me. If you die, "It's worth it."
