Jonah BromwichReporting from inside the courthouse
Stormy Daniels begins to talk about her career as a dancer — she began stripping, she says, because she made more money doing it than she did “shoveling manure,” work she had done previously at a stable. Her nervousness as she continues to speak very quickly could endear her to the jury — but this is a witness where the mentality of the jurors, a total mystery to us, is really important. Sex brings interesting reactions out in people, and Daniels's story is headed inexorably toward a story about sex.
Good observations by Brom. I’ll give him a thistle for that.
