On the one hand, what can I do if he wins--legally or, as in 2016, illegally? Protest? Okay, I can do that. But I'm just one person and a 69-year old one at that.
When he starts dictating on Day One, implementing Project 2025, throwing Kamala and Biden and Hillary in jail, donors too, like me? If you read that AP article, in his tweet last night he wrote,
“WHEN I WIN, those people that CHEATED will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law, which will include long term prison sentences so that this Depravity of Justice does not happen again,
“Please beware that this legal exposure extends to Lawyers, Political Operatives, Donors, Illegal Voters, & Corrupt Election Officials. Those involved in unscrupulous behavior will be sought out, caught, and prosecuted at levels, unfortunately, never seen before in our Country.”
Oh, he can't do that? The hell he can't! Oh, he won't do that? You think he's kidding? A cry for help? As AP writes,
Trump’s message represents his latest threat to use the office of the presidency to exact retribution if he wins a second term.
He has said and written this repeatedly, this is just the "latest".
Saturday afternoon, before that tweet, in Wisconsin,
Trump told the crowd of thousands that he would “rapidly review the cases of every [Jan. 6] political prisoner unjustly victimized by the Harris regime” and sign their pardons on his first day back in office.
And he said he would “completely overhaul” what he labeled “Kamala’s corrupt Department of Injustice.”
He can do that! He can appoint anyone he wants to be Attorney General. He can fire anyone he wants in the DOJ.
“Instead of persecuting Republicans, they will focus on taking down bloodthirsty cartels, transnational gangs, and radical Islamic terrorists.”
So back to the question to me: what do I do when he does that? Protest? I'll be arrested...Well, won't be the first time...I'll be sentenced to a "long prison term"...Well, how much longer do I have to live? That's what I'll do. That, and send my beloved children abroad after giving them a living inheritance.
