Pitt -3. I should have gone with my gut. I made the mistake of thinking about it. I thought with the three points given the home team, -3 would mean the House would set the line at even on a neutral field. On a neutral field, I thought,
Pitt would still be giving points so I went with 5. I was wrong. I need to discard that general home field advantage adage. Is home field worth the same at Kyle Field and Acrisure Stadium? Obviously not. From now on I'm calculating what I think home field is worth in each individual game.
