Cleveland led by 7 after 1, by 8 at HT, and by 8 end 3. The final margin was Cleveland's largest of the game. The "Heat's" largest lead was tyoo.
This Miami team has more talent 1-15 than the one that started the season. We're closer to Cleveland than we were. We're closer than 21 points over a series. That is no disrespect to Cleveland, they are still the significantly better squad as I posted during the game, and they are well-coached. Beyond a reasonable doubt the "Cavaliers" will win this series. That is only to say that the "Cavs' won't win their four games by an average of 21 points. This "Heat" team is good, they have a one in 75-years coach and they play hard per their culture. Cleveland is going to know they were in a struggle when this series is over. And that is the greatest cause for hope for Miami. Cleveland laid an egg in the playoffs last post-season after a break-out regular season. The pressure is on them. Another tough series against an inferior team and doubt will creep in. Cleveland is an uber talented team who have fragile confidence I expect Miami to win one, maybe two games, starting Wednesday night, also in Cleveland. To state the obvious, the "Cavs" have the ability to win Wednesday and reasonably could sweep Miami. But I don't think they will. I think the most likely outcome is that we win Wednesday night and then go back to Miami 1-1. I then think Cleveland will win both games down here and probably win the series 4-1 in Cleveland. If that comes to pass it is a respectable showing for the "Heat" and the expected outcome for Cleveland and we will move on to 2025/26 and an off-season that will --will BETTER!--close the gap on the East leaders even further.
