Was last night a one-off for OKC?
Was Jorge Sedano's one of those meaningless stats so common among English soccer pencils?
Reasonably, the answer to both morning-after questions is, "Yes."
I don't think OKC is going to lose by 40+ Monday night. But I think they are going to lose. I think the "T-Wolves" found a key to OKC: muscle them. They were physically soft in G3. The "Wolves" pushed them around; the "Thunder" allowed themselves to be pushed around. That's mental softness.
The difference between 39 and 42 is statistically meaningless. But historically, it is a sign: the "Thunder" are not going to win the NBA title.
The "Thunder" is but a walking shadow, a poor player that rolls through the regular season, and then is heard nevermore: all sound and fury, nothing more.
