Officials Feared Flood Risk to Youth Camps but Rejected Warning System


The idea of a flood warning system was broached in 2015, in the aftermath of a deadly flood in Wimberley, Texas, about 75 miles to the east of Kerrville, the Kerr County seat.

Four years ago it was the "Texas Power Crisis" that lasted SEVENTEEN DAYS in February and directly killed 210. 


Three yrs ago it was 21 murdered, including 19 kids in an Uvalde school when the cops were cowardly.


Now this flood that should not have been this catastrophic.

Ted Cruz was vacationing in Greece when the deadly Texas floods broke out. His office says he took the first flight home.

Texas’ junior senator was visiting Greece Friday when the Texas flood turned deadly. Cruz, who did not return until Sunday night, communicated with officials from Athens.
