Massachusetts is the greatest American state. America, and the promise of America, began there. Ralph Lauren, THE fashion house of white privilege and elitism, has threaded the needle perfectly with its Oak Bluffs collection for Black folk. This is inspired, and historically accurate, design for the American Black community based on the Black enclave of Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard. Who knew?
