Pit.'s D I guess gets credit for a stop on NYJ's last drive. It was 4th down when NYJ let the clock run out. But even on the drive, they gave up an 8-yard run at the start and a 15-yard run at the end. The "Jets" got out to their 41, ~24 yds from FG range, with :27 left when a rare penalty, unnecessary roughness on the defense, set them back and effectively ended any further attempt to get in range of a kick.
Both QBs played stellar halves, Rodgers finished with a slightly higher QB rating, 153.6. But he is 41 years old, he shuffles where Fields can run, Rodgers is no threat whatsoever to run the football and the "Jets" D line can tee off on him. The "Steelers" must be concerned with the two sacks Rodgers took. Aaron Rodgers cannot get sacked twice a half for long without getting hurt and being lost. Other than those sacks, Rodgers has been every "Steelers" fan's dream in the first half.
