Scholarly Tackle: FT North Texas 36 South Florida (24) 63*

You think I have nothing else to do, don't you? Not true. Dr. Ana and I worked for 4' 27" today. And this, despite the compass school names was a big game. UNT was 5-0; they beat Wershington State 59-10. USF is now 5-1. They have 1) beaten the State out of Boise, ranked 25th at the time 34-7 2) Flarida, ranked 13th then, 18-16 in Gainesville 3) rolled over SC State, Charlotte, and now UNT in Texas UNT was favored -1.5), the latter two fellow AAC members by a combined 180-76, an average of 60-25. The North Texas game was "the most-hyped game in school history and with an announced sellout crowd of 31,386..."The "Bulls" only demerit was a 49-12 shellacking by the "Hurricanes, then 5th now 2nd, in Miami Gardens. There is not a loss on the horizon for the "Bulls." No, as HC Andy Golesh says, "This is not the same old South Florida." This South Florida is for real.

In other action...

Wershington (4-1) formerly of the Pac-12, then of the Pac-4, now of the Bix XVIII, is leading the State University of Ruptures 31-19 end 3Q in the Beijing time zone. Ruptures led 10-0 and, doing the math, have been outscored 31-9 since. The Scarlet Pimpernel have the ball at the "Huskies" 22.

*Update. On 4th and 10 at the Wersh. 11, Ruptures got 9, but not the requisite 10, yards and turned the ball over on downs (their second such of this game). 'Ton has now gone from their 3 to their 48 with 10:31 left.
