Lose that one and they're 7-5. They will go to a bowl. Lose the bowl game and they're 7-6. Which is what they were last season.
Where I am going with this is here: Nebraska is never going to be nationally relevant again. Since 2014, this is the 10th full season, the "Cornhuskers" have had three different full-time head coaches and have gone a cumulative 47-63. That's a .427 decimal win percentage. On a 12-game regular season that's 5-7 every damn year for ten years.
It's over Nebraska. Collect your annual check from the B1G and be content. That's as good as it's going to get.
