It was Oklahoma City's first loss this season when scoring at least 120 points; they were 24-0 in such games entering Saturday.

...

Miami — which took 111 shots to Oklahoma City's 77 — was without Tyler Herro (sore big toe, bruised rib) and Jaime Jaquez Jr. (sprained left knee).

Shots taken is is the new go-go stat. They were immaculate shooting, 55% (45%), we were piss poor from the field, 37% (40% from range). But we took 34 more shots. How? The key stats within the stat were  offensive rebounds, we had 21 to their 5 (we outrebounded them in total 51-46), and turnovers/points off: they had 15, giving us 21 points to our miniscule 4, leading to only 7 points for them. The "Heat" did the annoying, handsy, dirty work tonight, we were immaculate at getting our hands dirty, and knocked off the shiniest bauble on the NBA tree. Go HEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
