Manchester City beat Chelsea, formerly Swine Chelsea, at Stamford Bridge today 3-0. Kun Aguero had a hat-trick, including a penalty kick, to make up for the PK he missed in the Champs League against Paris Saint-Germain.

And speaking of the Champs League, the semi-final draws were announced yesterday and I done forgot to check. City drew Real Madrid and play Madrid for Real at the Etihad on April 26. The other two are Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich. Could be an all-Madrid final: Real is an odds-on 2/5 favorite to win the tie with City and is even 23/20 to win the first leg in Manchester. Sheesh.

Also playing today in Merry Old, Manchester "Buccaneers" won at Raymond James Stadium and confirmed relegation of poor Aston Villa after 28 years in the top flight. City are now three points clear of the "Bucs" for fourth place, I cannot get used to writing Manchester City and fourth place, and an automatic spot in the 2016-17 Champions League.

Both northeast teams, who are way south in the table and heading for the Coca Cola League, won today: Sunderland won at Norwich and New Rooks beat Swans at St. James Park. Middlesbrough, Burnley and Brighton and Hove Albion are the three clubs likely to be promoted next year. Premier leaders Leicester, can't get used to writing that either, play tomorrow at Power Play Park against West Ham, the Hammerheads 6th in the table and hoping for some European play next season.
