All other countries are run by little girls.

All other countries have inferior potassium.

It removes 80 percent of human solid waste.

Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan, you very nice place,

From plains of Tarashenk to northern fence of
Jewtown. Kazakhstan, friend of all except Uzbekistan,
They very nosey people with bone in their brain.

Kazakhstan, industry best in the world,

We invented toffee and the trouser belt.
Kazakhstan, prostitutes cleanest in the region,
Except of course for Turkmenistan's.

Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan, you very nice place,

From plains of Tarashenk to northern fence of

Leader, from junction with testes to tip of its face.
Today, this week, and this month, "I'm scared of Rongfen..." tops the charts. I deem it not inappropriate to reprint the subject matter of that suddenly popular post:

Dear Chairman Mao Zedong:

I ask you to consider, as a Communist Party member, what are you doing?

I ask you in the name of the Party to consider: What is the significance of all that is happening now?

I ask you in the name of the Chinese people to consider: Where is it that you are leading China?

The Cultural Revolution is not a mass movement; it is one person using a gun to move the masses. I earnestly declare: I hereby withdraw my membership from the Chinese Communist Youth Corps.

Sincerely yours,

Wang Rongfen, fourth year student of German at Beijing Foreign Languages Institute

Trump and Rape

This is how Donald Trump's mind works. You can usually tell when he has read or watched something that has made an impression on him because a word or a concept will pop up, sometimes in a context completely removed from politics, and then it will come out of his mouth in a political context.

Rape, the word and concept, have been used not infrequently by Trump. His campaign announcement speech: "Mexican rapists." Never heard of a Mexican rape epidemic! Because there is none.

It is a harsh word, my God, but sometimes he doesn't consider it harsh at all! Not with Mike Tyson, a convicted rapist. He "loves" "Iron Mike," was "proud" to get his endorsement. Els and Gees, this guy Trump has some issue, some conflicting thoughts, they are deep-set, on rape.

He goes to Pennsylvania, to Pittsburgh of all places-Now he doesn't know much about Pennsylvania-and he makes the first word association that pops into his mind and it's a rape association: "Hey Joe Paterno, how's he doing? We gonna bring him back?"

TPP is "rape." Said that three times. "Harsh word." Yep. Isn't it WEIRD that rolling around in this guy's mind was TPP and rape-Well, I think rape is frequently in his mind-and he word-associated them. TPP was an agreement negotiated and agreed to by government heads. The gravaman of rape is lack of consent. The gravaman of a negotiated agreement is consent. They are opposites. TPP may be a terrible deal, just terrible-it came about precisely the opposite of how rape occurs, it came about through agreement among "freely consenting adults," rape is forced, non-consensual. It is precisely the opposite metaphor for TPP. But instead of taking a page from "The Art of the Deal," Trump invokes rape.

There is something going on in Trump's mind on the issue of rape and it's all mixed up. I don't know what is loose in there but I believe this:

Donald Trump will never be president.

Trump Gonna Be Trump

"They [other Republican candidate "losers"] signed a pledge saying they will abide, saying they will back the candidate of the party. They broke their word. In my opinion, they never be allowed to run for public office again because what they did is disgraceful."-Bangor, Maine. CNN.

You are making folks laugh at you again, Disco Donald. And you are not being "taken seriously." That is so embarrassing. He cannot control himself. He is a train wreck. He is already a casualty of his own train wreck. The GOP is a casualty of their train wreck. I really don't think there is going to be any collateral damage to this train wreck. That is, I really don't think this walking joke is going to win the presidency. This stuff just continues. It reinforces what Elizabeth Warren says repeatedly, it is the best encapsulation of the Trump train wreck: "Donald Trump will NEVER be president of the United States."

Trump Gonna Be Trump

“The Trans-Pacific Partnership is another disaster done and pushed by special interests who want to rape our country, just a continuing rape of our country. That’s what it is, too. It’s a harsh word: It’s a rape of our country."-St. Clairsville, Ohio.

"If Trump Lost, Would He Concede?"-New York Times

HA! EXCELLENT QUESTION!

He gave a gracious concession speech in Iowa, and then took it back, lol, accusing Ted Cruz of some Canadian chicanery. Did he concede in the other states he lost? Or just "move on"? I don't remember.

The worst word in Trump's limited vocabulary is "loser." He lives in a bit of a literal and figurative fantasy world and has such an outsized and unwarranted ego it will be hard for him to self-label.

The hallmark of mature democratic societies is the willing transfer of power and Trump is neither mature nor does he believe in democracy. He is like his homeboy Putin! Conversely, in banana republics like Russia and Florida there is a history of never conceding. Trump can be a gracious winner (sometimes not) but he is a "sore loser."

Trump lies, to himself and more so to voters but that very "liar-ness" means he knows the truth; he is a "bottom-line" guy who sees truth in numbers: money, polls, votes cast. Unless the general election is Bush v Gore or Nixon v Kennedy close, he's going to believe those numbers.

Trump congratulates himself on the showing he has made. And by God, he deserves his self-congratulations. Even if he gets slaughtered in November he will always have the spring and summer of '16.

Trump has said that he ran for president because he didn't want to be "laughed at" anymore, he wanted to be "taken seriously" as a political figure. This is what fellow-racist, fellow-protectionist, fellow-nationalist Nigel Farage said to the European Parliament the other day:

"When I came here 17 years ago and I said that I wanted to lead a campaign to get Britain to leave the European Union, you all laughed at me.

"Well, I have to say, you're not laughing now, are you?"

No!

This is what Trump said right before the New Hampshire primary:

“A lot of people have laughed at me over the years. Now, they’re not laughing so much.”

No!

Being "laughed at" is synonymous with not being "taken seriously," but it is not precisely reversible. That is: not being laughed at does not equate to being "taken seriously." You can be: ignored; you can be held in contempt by others; hated; feared. Very few "laugh at" Donald Trump anymore, that is true-but he is not "taken seriously" as "presidential timber." Few ever looked at Donald Trump and thought, "That's a president right there." He has embarrassed himself, his (current) political party, his country. Sometimes you laugh at someone who is embarrassing himself like Trump is, sometimes you don't, you turn away, it's mortifying  to look at. You don't laugh. You "take seriously" the embarrassment the person is causing to all, the damage he has caused, real and potential.

Trump, and this is my bet, will concede when he loses in November (if the result is incontestable) because he will not consider himself a "loser." In his mind, in everybody's, he got too many votes to be "laughed at." He won't realize until after the election that he did not achieve the other near-synonymous goal of being "taken seriously." He will come to realize that when he is shunned.

The Fall of the Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors Have Revolutionized Basketball

Team executives saw the 3-point line as a market inefficiency and unleashed Stephen Curry to exploit it

A "MARKET INEFFICIENCY!" Ho-Ho-Ho-Ho-Ho.

How did "team executives" convince professional pencils in other fields to buy this snake oil?  For the Journal it was savvy exploitation of a "market inefficiency;" for The New Yorker it was brain zapping technology. Two and a half months after "Ben" "Cohen" wrote that article came The Fall of the Golden State Warriors. And the "revolution" was dead. Ho-Ho-Ho-Ho-Ho.

"For heaven's sake, man, go."

C-Cameron to Corbyn. How? This is Chinese to me, I don't understand.

"Foe heaven's sake, man, go!"

Who said it, and to whom?

A. Pat Riley to LeBron James.
B. George Will to Donald Trump.
C. David Cameron to Jeremy Corbin.
D. Donald Trump to George Will.
E. Jeremy Corbyn to David Cameron.
F. Other to David Cameron.

The Last Summer

Precisely 102 years ago today an automobile driver made a wrong turn down a street in Sarajevo. He stopped to back up and turn around. A man with a gun was standing five feet away and in that instant, in that circumstance of happenstance, the gunman fired two shots. One shot killed Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria; the other killed his wife Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg.

With the assassinations the European order "unraveled," "collapsed," "disintegrated." And World War I came.

U.S.-Imposed World Order "Unraveling?"

Britain’s historic vote to leave the European Union is already threatening to unravel a democratic bloc of nations that has coexisted peacefully together for decades. But it is also generating uncertainty about an even bigger issue: Is the post-1945 order imposed on the world by the United States and its allies unraveling, too?-New York Times, June 25.

Soros: EU "disintegration practically irreversible"

Now the catastrophic scenario that many feared has materialized, making the disintegration of the EU practically irreversible. https://www.project-syndicate.org/commentary/brexit-eu-disintegration-inevitable-by-george-soros-2016-06

UK "has collapsed politically, monetarily, constitutionally, and economically."

"I would argue to give them some space. I've already outlined that England [sic, the UK] has collapsed politically, monetarily, constitutionally and economically. It is not reasonable to demand from them to trigger article 50."-Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte today.

Corbyn Loses Labour No-Confidence Vote

Britain again waives the rules...of democracy.

According to the catechism in two-party democracies you have:

1. A vote.
2. You count the votes.
3. The guy with the biggest number wins, the guy with the littler number loses.

Elementary, my dear Watson.

When there has been a "bird pump" in these elementary rules it has come on number 2. For instance, Americans afflicted with the condition known as "Florida" can't do number two. For more than one instance. And to be fair this has happened in other precincts just not in advanced societies like Haiti who have never gotten "stuck" on number two.

In the history of human government however it has never occurred that somebody has gotten stuck on number three. Until Thursday last.

The United Kingdom has made history. ONE VOTE has produced two losers and no winner. Singular achievement, that.

"Britannia Waives the Rules"

"If English votes drag us out of the EU that would be like Britannia waives the rules."-Martina Anderson, MEP Northern Ireland in speech to European parliament yesterday.

Oh, well done Ms. Anderson, well done. Delicious word play there.

Elizabeth Warren

That is an impressive politician. She believes, she fights, and she is unrelenting. For months now she has been the tin can tied to Donald Trump's tail. The harder he runs from her the louder she rattles and bangs after him. She is Joe Frazier taking every one of The Mouth's punches and roaring through them. She keeps comin' after him and she, as noone else, has rattled Trump and rocked him with her attacks.

Elizabeth Warren is a warrior. And she is on a mission To TAKE OUT Donald J. Trump.
EU, use the official results of the vote as the official Article 50 notification. Was the question not clear? Yes, it was. Were the results not official? Yes, they were. Were you not notified? Yes, we were. Is Cameron not a jagoff? Makes us puke.

So, screw Cameron. Get an official, certified copy of the referendum results and use that as the official, written, Article 50 notification. What is Cameron's recourse? Sue? Let him knock himself out and take it to the EU Court. Cameron has made himself and the UK a world laughing stock. If you tie yourself in knots over what an Article 50 notification is you will be a world laughing stock.
"Before we do that, [invoke Article 50] we need to determine the kind of relationship we want with the EU. Any new negotiation to leave the EU will begin under a new prime minister."
      -
The Prime Minister formerly known as David Cameron.

                                     ?

Cameron, what was the precise question you submitted to the people of the Kingdom formerly known as United for referendum? Was it:

1. What kind of relationship do we want with the European Union?
     A. Good.
     B. Bad.
     C. Friends with benefits.
     D. What's the European Union?

No.

2. Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?
     A. Remain.
     B. Leave.

Yes. Cameron, stop being a jagoff and Leave.

The Soul of Adam Silver

The tall geeky white guy there...Aah, why am I getting emotional, c'mon man. Butch up...No. No, I am going to stay emotional.

That tall, geeky white guy has a good soul. He is a leader, a moral leader. He is Adam Silver, the Commissioner of America's National Basketball Association and the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The NBA and the WNBA are the first American professional sports leagues to participate in New York City's annual Gay Pride Parade and they were represented by the most powerful figure in the sport.

Adam Silver's calling is as a moral leader. Two years ago, just on the job, Adam faced the gravest crisis that any sports commissioner has ever faced. One of those owners, Donald Sterling, who had hired him had made the most painful, vulgar, racist remarks in a league whose players are 75% Black and who were threatening to boycott. The future of the NBA literally hung on Adam Silver's words that day and as he stepped from behind the curtain and into public to deliver his sentence one writer wrote, the first thing you noticed was Adam Silver's anger. Adam conceived the issue in the only manner he could conceive it-as a moral issue, first, second, and last. His demeanor and his sentence were cold and durable as crystal:

With today's Gay Pride Parade participation we now have another of what Earvin Magic Johnson said  malappropriately but entirely appropriately about the Donald Sterling crisis: it was a "binding moment for Adam Silver. Both were the quintessential Adam Silver. A great soul, a great moral leader. May God keep Adam Silver.

Lol EU

You know what I just determined? What did you just determine, Benjamin?...I will tell you...I just determined that Article 7 of the Lisbon Treaty establishes the "kick out" procedure for a member of the European Union:

1. On a reasoned proposal by one third of the Member States, by the European Parliament or by the European Commission, the Council, acting by a majority of four fifths of its members after obtaining the consent of the European Parliament, may determine that there is a clear risk of a serious breach by a Member State of the values referred to in Article 2. Before making such a determination, the Council shall hear the Member State in question and may address recommendations to it, acting in accordance with the same procedure. The Council shall regularly verify that the grounds on which such a determination was made continue to apply.

2. The European Council, acting by unanimity on a proposal by one third of the Member States or by the European Commission and after obtaining the consent of the European Parliament, may determine the existence of a serious and persistent breach by a Member State of the values referred to in Article 2 after inviting the Member State in question to submit its observations.

3. Where a determination under paragraph 2 has been made, the Council, acting by a qualified majority, may decide to suspend certain of the rights deriving from the application of the Treaties to the Member State in question, including the voting rights of the representative of the government of that Member State in the Council. In doing so, the Council shall take into account the possible consequences of such a suspension on the rights and obligations of natural and legal persons.

The obligations of the Member State in question under the Treaties shall in any case continue to be binding on that State.

4. The Council, acting by a qualified majority, may decide subsequently to vary or revoke measures taken under paragraph 3 in response to changes in the situation which led to their being imposed.

So we have to go to Article 2:

The Union is founded on the values of respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to minorities. These values are common to the Member States in a society in which pluralism, non-discrimination, tolerance, justice, solidarity and equality between women and men prevail.

So...In the learned opinion of undersigned who has made a study of this for fifteen minutes, the United Kingdom CANNOT BE KICKED OUT of the European Union on the basis of the Brexit referendum because the only ground in Article 2 that would apply would be that the UK did not show "respect for" "democracy" in that it refused to exit the EU voluntarily pursuant to Article 50 (by declaring in public three times "I divorce you!") upon the Brexit referendum winning. That may be, in the language of Article 7, paragraph 2 up there, a "serious breach" of Article 2 but it could not be a "persistent breach." Cuz it only happened once. It'd have to happen again, like saying "I divorce you!" three times.

So, so...They can't be kicked out. The only way they are going to get out is by voluntarily doing it pursuant to Article 50. The Prime-Minister-formerly-known-as-Cameron could have done that on Friday. Instead he resigned-effective as soon as the Conservatives choose a successor, which could be in October at the earliest or never on accounta nobody applied for the job. Dave could invoke Article 50 at the EU confab Tuesday night-or not: and that is the money shot of this circle jerk. The EU cannot compel the UK to invoke Article 50 and, i.m.h.o., they can't forcibly eject the UK pursuant to Articles 7 and 2. Aforesaid.

HELD: FUCK!

"Having Won, Some ‘Brexit’ Campaigners Begin Backpedaling"-New York Times

That's the NEW YORK Times, the home of both BoJo and BoZo. I'd like to see either of those stubby-fingered vulgarians pedal backwards, forwards or sideways.

LONDON — Freed from the shackles of the European Union, Britain’s economy would prosper and its security would increase. Britain would “take back control” of immigration, reducing the number of arrivals. And it would be able to spend about 350 million pounds, or about $470 million, a week more on health care instead of sending the money to Brussels.

Before Thursday’s referendum on the country’s membership in the 28-nation bloc, campaigners for British withdrawal, known as Brexit, tossed out promises of a better future while dismissing concerns raised by a host of scholars and experts as “Project Fear.”

But that was before they won.

...“A lot of things were said in advance of this referendum that we might want to think about again,” Liam Fox, a former cabinet minister, told the BBC, including when and how Article 50 — the formal process for leaving the European Union — should be invoked.

NO! Just say no to re-think. KICK THEM OUT! KICK THEM OUT!
Is this because you're a kingdom? How many votes did Queen Elizabeth get? How long have you been doing this? It does not SEEM very LONG. Because, look, okay, in "politics" where you count "votes" somebody WINS and somebody loses, okay?...So WHY has everybody LOST here? See, there is something you're not doing right, you've got half of it down, butyouneedawinner. Now, from where I sit, and this is not rocket science, okay?, the Conservatives LOST, okay? Like, the Conservative Prime Minister RESIGNED. That is a signal measure that he LOST. Then! His Chancellor of the Exchequer RESIGNED. THEN! The Conservative Prime Minister's heir apparent looked like his dog died. So, that all means, c'mon, c'mon, cmoncmon, that means Labour WON. Right?...YES! Shut up, just shut UP, that is what that MEANS. So. Jeremy Corbyn and his shadow cabinet should be meeting in full session around a big table and SHOULD BE HAVING A CIRCLE JERK! Now see to it that they do that.
That's BoJo walking to the podium to deliver his victory speech. He doesn't look very victorious. He knows he's fucked...This breaks my mind...The Conservative Party has just been decapitated...Why is Labour in disarray?

BoJo

As Martin Fletcher reminded readers of the New York Times, in 1988 Johnson was sacked from the Times of London for making up a quote – he put words into the mouth of an Oxford don who also happened to be his godfather.

A similar problem cavalier relationship with actuality marked his reporting stint for the Daily Telegraph in Brussels, where he made his name as a colorful character.
...
[Sonia] Purnell is convinced that Johnson created this double act – saying one thing in public, another in private – as a way of getting on.
...
He may be about to greatly enhance his own standing, but only at the cost of diminishing that of the country he seeks to lead.

...an opportunistic politician who plays on populist fears about a sluggish economy and immigration to further his own prospects...
And like Trump, he's a pussy. He refused to come out of his house last night as infuriated Londoners demanded he show his face. He thought Remain was going to win and only opposed it to position himself as Cameron's successor. Now, he doesn't WANT the job because Cameron's successor is going to be presiding over the breakup of the UK.

It's our fault. It's New York City's fault! It inflicted both of the Blonde Buffoons on the world.

Wait, WHAT?!

One Vote.

The pound fell to its lowest level in 30 years, Moody's downgraded its rating of the UK from "stable" to "negative."

Lol Britain

Can you ever recall ONE VOTE causing a shit storm anything like this? ONE VOTE takes out:

1. The head of government and his most powerful cabinet officer.

2. The leader of the opposition and his entire (essentially) shadow cabinet.

3. The country. One vote and the identity of the country is in flux. What is this...human civilization "thing" on the island of Great Britain now? Not a member of that European Union thing; doesn't look like it's going to be either that entity-formerly-known-as-Great Britain or that-entity-formerly-known-as-the-United Kingdom.

If the American Civil War had started with a single vote there would be an historical parallel. But it didn't. A single act pulled the thread that unraveled Europe into World War I but that single act was an assassination not a vote. You could see the American Civil War coming, hell, they could see it coming then. Nobody saw World War I coming.

Almost everybody (not that one guy, though!) saw dire consequences to Leave but this? All of the above? Brexit is not going to result in general war in Europe but as The New York Times put it yesterday Brexit has loosened the strands of the European order that the United States imposed after World War II-hasn't unraveled it but, boy, the United Kingdom was the strongest strand in that fabric and this ONE VOTE has removed that strand. Cameron: NICE job. Lol.

The British polity now has the happy choice of Boris Trumpson or Jeremy Corbin-but maybe not! Comrade Jeremy is the subject of a no-confidence vote among proletarian Labour MP's on accounta his insufficient enthusiasm for Remain.

'No need to write, David,' impatient EU tells Cameron-Reuters

"No need to write, David"! And that's from Reuters. Ho-Ho-Ho-Ho-Ho

(Reuters) - Britain need not send a formal letter to the European Union to trigger a two-year countdown to its exit from the bloc, EU officials said, implying British Prime Minister David Cameron could start the process when he speaks at a summit on Tuesday.

They're WAIVING the formal written withdrawal! OMG, this is hilarious!

'Triggering'...could be either a letter to the president of the European Council or an official statement at a meeting of the European Council duly noted in the official records of the meeting," a spokesman for the council of EU leaders said.

A second EU official, asked about mounting frustration among leaders with the British prime minister's delay in delivering the formal notification required to launch divorce proceedings, said: "It doesn't have to be written. He can just say it."

How about a text? Cameron, send them an IM. Phone call? Skype if absolutely necessary? ROFLMAO.

Now, in Islam, a husband can "divorce" his wife by saying, publicly, I think, "I divorce you!" "I divorce you!" I divorce you!" Three times...you know, the Holy Trinity.

Dave...Oh God I am laughing so hard I can't type...David, I think they're being coquettish, I think they really want you...They just don't want to say!

...there have been calls in Britain for the result to be reviewed or for parliament to ignore the referendum.

England voted to E-xit but the Scots, who are the other half of Great Britain, voted to S-tay. Whales spouted off and voted with the English to W-eave and Northern Ireland, and with them you got the whole United Kingdom, voted Remain.

The EU wants the UK to exit NOW and don't let the door hit you in your arse. Scotland, who just two years ago voted to Stay as part of GB and UK, now wants to S-exit GB and UK for EU. Northern Ireland wants to I-xit the UK too for the EU.

David Cameron, both votes, the Scottish independence vote and the EU vote, were your ideas. They were not good ideas. They SUCKED as ideas. You lost your job and you may be the last Prime Minister of Great Britain and the United Kingdom as they were, which was also a Big part of the EU as it was.
