Manchester United played again?
They did and they won one for a change, 2-0 at the Everton "Wayne Rooney's". (I have always wondered if Evertonians wish Sheikh Mansour had bought them instead of City; always wondered that.)
The EPL schedule is just too damned crowded. United played Tuesday, played Saturday, and played at Everton today, Monday. Ridiculous. Players are going to get hurt from muscle fatigue. You can't run that much.
When John Stones went down for City a while ago, clutching his hamstring, I wondered how that could happen to a world class athlete running on a putting green. A non-contact injury, Stones was just running along and a shot rang out from the grassy knoll and he went down. Been out for like two months. Just came back. Anyway. Pep said afterwards that it was because of the cramped schedule and muscle fatigue. You just can't run that much. So now I know. It's muscle fatigue 'cause you just can't run that much.
