And it is a dangerous loss: If Manchester United win tomorrow at Tottenham they will be level with Arsenal on points for fifth place. If United were to win by four goals Arsenal would be bumped down to sixth.

Liverpool won at 13th place Brighton 1-0 on a Mo Salah PK. Livers again seven points clear of Manchester City, who play Monday against Wolverhampton at Etihad Stadium.
