Sarah’s videos are so brilliant for the little *extras* she adds to her lip syncing, the mannerisms, gestures, winks. In this one, “How to mask,” she begins by autographing a golf ball and handing it back to the fan.
The difference in sports between pro and amateur or elite and journeyman, the adage goes, is often just 1%. Just 1% faster, smarter, stronger, etc. Same here. As difficult as perfect lip syncing is it is these little extras that make Sarah’s videos go viral and others not. It’s the difference between genius and really smart.
