[“SCAM TERRITORY”! Ma’am that is defamation. Be careful what you say, Congresswoman. To some people, including one who has ONE bumpersticker on his car, and that, “Alexandria Ocasio! Cortez,” the Lincoln Project Founders should be on Mount Rushmore. I am a liberal Democrat who tilts Democratic-Socialist, not LP’s target audience, yet their ads moved me more than any political ads I have ever seen. Literally to tears, I am abashed to say. There are no more courageous patriots in this country than they. They are men and women now without a party because of what they tried to do for Joe Biden and Democrats and to defeat Trump and Trumpism. 

There was not a blue tsunami four days ago, not even a respectable wave, so for the sake of argument here only I will grant you that LP’s efforts did not work. Did they not try, Congresswoman? Were their $67M less effective than the, however many, $50M, that Democrats wasted on Jaime Harrison in South Carolina? Was that Democratic attempt a “scam” for losing by ten points?]

And for folks who think it persuaded Republicans, I’d be interested to see data on how effective their videos and NYC billboards were at persuasion. Especially data that justifies $67,000,000.

It’s not that persuasion doesn’t work, it’s a Q of if this was persuasion at all.

It’s not the general “Never Trump” message that’s a failure per se, but the kind of videos they made are pretty well shown to not be persuasive for a Never Trump message. Explicitly insulting anti-Trump content isn’t what gets people to move. If anything it digs their heels in.

[Where’s the data on that, Congresswoman? As you offer to LP I will publicly apologize to you if you provide data that the “Never Trumpers” created “Forever Trumpers.”

[Which of LP’s ads “insulted” Trump’s "content" ?? I honestly don't know what that means. They excoriated Trump and apotheosized the rural heartland of the reddest voters. They tried to appeal to the best in those voters with the contrast of the man they voted for president, the worst, most dangerous, treasonous man ever to hold the office. 

[Did LP cost Dems the Senate by “insulting” Trump "content"? Cause Dems to LOSE seats in the House? The most important question for you Congresswoman Ocasio Cortez is why you would insult and libel men and women who tried as desperately to defeat Donald Trump and Lindsey Graham and Susan Collins and, and, as you and I and other Leftists did?]
