New Record

2,804  Deaths reported by Johns Hopkins for Dec. 2. The most reported for a single day previously was 2,607 on April 15. What an achievement, Trump, huh?

276,148 cumulative Death toll since Feb. 6, more efficient killing day after day after day than any war Americans have ever fought and died in--by far. Once again, you must be proud, Trump.

I don't know what to make of this:
It has been six reporting days since Thanksgiving. The seven-day (so, Nov. 19-25) Cases average report peaked on Thanksgiving Day with 1.767k. But each successive iteration of the seven-day average, so those reported on Nov. 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, and Dec. 1, was lower before ticking up yesterday, Dec. 2. So, covering the period Nov. 20, five days prior to Thanksgiving, through December 1 the seven-day average dropped. The 14-day average, being only two seven's lumped together, shows the barest 1% increase. I don't see how those figures can be explained by reporting volunteers taking off for Thanksgiving. On the other hand there is no way in hell we have "flattened the curve". As they did yesterday, Dec. 2, Cases will continue to rise tomorrow and each next morrow through at least the first week of 2021.

Hospital ICU's and morgues are getting cramped again. Today Governor Newsom of California announced that California has been broken into five regions for managing TrumPlague and that he will order a lockdown on any region if its hospitals have only 15% capacity left. (There has to be a more economical way of phrasing that). For morgue space I don't know maybe Bunker Boy would authorize storing bodies in his bunker I said maybe.
