Milwaukee won the series four games to two in Beer Town. They advance to their first NBA Finals since 1974. And they did it without Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Kris Middleton scored sixteen straight Milwaukee points in a decisive third quarter blitz. Atlanta had a great shot at their first lead of the night when Trae Young drove to the basket and unexpectedly kicked it for a wide open three. Kevin Huerter missed, Middleton got the rebound and he was off.
And so the “Hawks” are done and the “Bucks” go on. They will play Phoenix for the NBA crown. The "Suns" are the first team to make the Finals coming off a ten-year playoff drought. They last played in the Finals in 1993. It will also be 16-year veteran Chris Paul's first ever Final's appearance. 👏👏 All respect to Milwaukee and Phoenix.
