The Nebraska football program is under NCAA investigation for violations so serious head coach Scott Frost has retained an attorney. Last season, with Frost present, the coaching staff had the players practicing with unofficial "analysts" who were not part of the paid staff, a violation, and weight training at hidden locations in order to circumvent COVID-19 restrictions. The staff kept videotapes of both kinds of prohibited activities. Failure is bad enough for a head coach; failure while cheating in order to gain competitive advantage is intolerable. The "Cornhuskers" were 3-5 in the shortened last season. In three seasons Frost is 12-20 at his alma mater.
