Have I covered sports enough this weekend? I did check the Sunday Times a couple of times and there wasn't anything that rang my bell.
I admit to a little squeamishness tonight. Deaths declined in the last 7-day daily average by ONE. One hand clapping. So let's see...
Nope, it's all good.
14-day changes
-28% Cases.-17% Hospitalizations.
-7% Deaths.
7-day daily averages
106,941 Cases, down ~1.2k/day.
77,882 Hospitalizations, down about 700/day, so less than a 1% decrease.
1,878 Deaths, down, but a paltry 0.4%, 8/day--which is easy for me to say since I didn't die--and if you look at the deaths graph it has leveled the last three iterations.
Wish H's and D's were dropping more sharply and don't like the leveling of D's, but they’re all down. We clearly have this thing on the run searching for new hosts and it’s running out of America. After cutting through the slave states it’s now in…Alaska. Okay, COVID, knock yourself out. I hope these extremely small decreases aren't preludes to resurgences but that is what I was nervous about tonight. With this thing how many times have we had our knees cut out from under us?
