HT 40-34 (41-34)

Look at that score. It's like a college score.

...They said it was halftime. Last second foul on Gabe Vincent and it's 41-34.

Bam is a game-worst -12.

Tyler is 3/11 (0/3). Missed every shot he took in the second. Miami can't shoot shit. 32.6% (12.5%). Yikes. Philly isn't much better from the field, 34.3%, but much better from range, 35.7%.

The "Sixer" da-mahge has been done by James--from the free throw line. 8-8. Only seven of his 15 total have been from the field. This is really good coaching by Doc Rivers. James doesn't have his range as much as he did in his prime, so Doc's having him drive. It took Spo by surprise (evidently). He's getting to the line a lot and it's a team-wide hack-a-beard. Everybody who has played for the "Heat" has at least one foul. Vincent and Dedmon have two. It is a change in utilization by Doc and Spo was not prepared for it. Two not good signs for Phila in the second half: James has 2 assists, 4 turnovers, and 3 fouls. Spoelstra will adjust to James' offense (by isolating on him); we'll either stop shooting threes or get better at them.
