The tension in the Jazz locker room has been talked about for a few seasons now, and there is an imminent breakup that many believe needs to happen with either Rudy Gobert or Donovan Mitchell for the Jazz to move forward.

That is from shortly after Miami's elimination from the playoffs, before Mitchell was "unnerved" by favorite Quin Snyder unexpectedly stepping down as head coach. "A few seasons" refers inaccurately to the 2019-2020 "bubble" season. Gobert pissed a lot of people in the Association off, including Mitchell, when the COVID bubble burst all over America. He was the first player to test positive, gave the disease to teammates, including Mitchell, and caused the cancellation of the remainder of the regular season. He is as close to Patient Zero as we will ever get. Two days before testing positive he playfully but recklessly and intentionally touched every microphone and recorder in a press conference. He later apologized and donated half a million to people affected by COVID, but obviously the damage had already been, including to his relationship with Mitchell. The two were not on speaking terms for a long while, maybe still are not, I don't know. Anyway, that's the back story to the statement at top.

This article came out yesterday:

...the Heat do have a trade package that could persuade Utah to have a fresh start with a new coach and new pieces such as one proposed trade involving Tyler Herro, Max Strus, Duncan Robinson, P.J. Tucker, Omer Yurtseven, and a trio of first-round picks in 2022, 2024 and 2027 for Mitchell.

Taken literally, which we probably shouldn't with this same writer, that's eight players for Mitchell. I'd do it in a heartbeat.
...
The Heat also have their trade exception to go along with potential trade pieces like Herro, Strus, or even Adebayo if they really want to.

There are multiple trade exceptions, I don't know which one this idiot is referring to.
