Interesting what was missing from the speech: a direct reference to the battle between “autocracy and democracy,”

Trump was the unifying force for Democrats in 2020. Without him, their own divisions become clearer.

 Huh?

It’ll be interesting to see if any Democrats in tough races elevate or echo the themes of Biden’s speech in the coming days.

So interesting.

It is so striking that Biden didn’t mention abortion in a speech where he is imploring people to “vote, vote, vote.” It’s the issue that Democrats want to talk about and one that polling and recent special elections show energizes their supporters and swing voters.

It is true he didn’t mention the word “abortion”. He did rail against SCOTUS decisions that “tell you who you can love” and take away your “right to privacy.”

Biden’s senior advisors released a memo outlining the White House’s messaging strategy in the weeks ahead. They said they would call out the extremist views by “MAGA Republicans” and celebrate Biden’s recent legislative achievements. That memo is almost a blueprint for this speech.

This guy is good. He is the same guy who reported during Cassidy Hutchinson’s Jan. 6 testimony that Secret Service was denying her account of the Inspector Clouseau steering wheel-neck lunge.

Sincerely, I don’t know what Maggie Haberman was saying.
