The ACC is going to be THE prestige conference in the college tackle footballverse (especially if it can lop off Florida State and Clemson) and I predict faintly, more hope, that member fannies treat their lot as having been elevated into an exclusive club. The ACC is now not an acronym, it is a brand. It is a disruptor. It is the paradigm breaker and maker. I hope that when its newest stars come to visit that the home crowds give them a standing ovation, whatever the sport. The ACC can set a new standard of sportsmanship, in the balance of academics and athletics, in student welfare. This new conference is bigger than its parts or their sum. It is transcendent.
