It struck me as willing himself to believe amidst doubt. Very un-Pep-like. I had never heard him speak so confidently in such a situation, which has gotten worse.
Not exactly insurmountable but it is worse. We are fourth, the Villains are third and we are an honest two, three, and four points behind the clubs above us...after coming from behind today at "Luton" "Town."
So yeah, I saw Pep's unusual, confident remarks as willing himself to optimism, not really convinced.
