Joshua Steinglass is outlining the prosecution’s theory of the August 2015 meeting between Trump, Michael Cohen, and David Pecker, who was the publisher of The National Enquirer, in which they agreed to a plot to suppress negative stories about Trump and promote negative stories about his opponents.

Some of the jurors looked sleepy after the lunch break, but they appear to be a bit more awake now, and one just nodded at a point that Steinglass made about the Trump Tower meeting.

Joshua Steinglass has moved on from Michael Cohen and has begun to focus on the documents that prosecutors say were falsified. He puts a very complicated-looking chart on the screens in front of jurors but says they don’t have to understand it just yet.
