Gay's first point is that Kamala is ignoring trumpie.
"It's interesting that the vice president has barely even responded to Donald Trump. He can barely get her attention."
I have written here repeatedly that that is EXACTLY what Kamala should be doing. Old CW, from Bill Clinton '96, respond to every attack within the same news cycle. Politically 1996 might as well be 1896, before telephones became common. Thanks to the internet and social media and people who were born in 1996, the news cycle now is like 15 mins long. What happened 15 mins ago has already disappeared into the ether of Tik Tok, Youtube, X, Instagram, etc etc etc. Kamala should stay on her message, keep moving like the shark and ignore the orange blowfish and his impotent nibbles.
The second point Gay makes is that trumpie's power over the country was fear. The title of Bob Woodward's book on him was Fear, the answer trumpie gave when Woodward asked what power was to him. What Gay says is that in ignoring trump, and when not ignoring, pointing and laughing at him as "weird", Tim Walz' amazing insight, makes people no longer fear trump. It deprives him of that power, HIS self-defined power. Okay here's the clip,
Just one more thing: in another msnbc clip Anthony Scaramucci decodes one of trumpie's signature mannerisms. You know how he moves his hands palms inward in and out like an accordion? That's how you can tell trumpie is lying, according to mooch.
