I'm thinking along linear, arithmetic "path to the presidency" lines in which that yellow box labeled PA with the number 19 is the keystone. For, whoever wins Pennsylvania wins the presidency in 2024. Kamala Harris has to come up with a collection of those boxes that adds up to 270. It matters not if she turns Ohio a paler shade of red. Nor Minnesota deeper blue. She has to get 270 blue boxes. The conventional political thinking was that choosing Josh Shapiro would turn PA 19 blue. It is the biggest prize in yellow. I don't know how Tim Walz gets her any more blue boxes.
